Bay of Plenty Regional Council & Whakatane District Council are teaming up with Love Food Hate Waste on a local campaign to teach our community how to store perishable food properly to reduce waste! We need Waste-Zero-Whakatane volunteers to man the display which will be at a supermarket (yet to be confirmed) - to engage and educate the public (and give away prizes!)! Can you help? The more volunteers we have, the more fun (and less work!)! Your commitment will involve watching a webinar at one of these two times! And turning up on the day (date yet to be confirmed, but the promotion will be running in-store (somewhere) between September 3rd and October 14th).
P.S. The Tuesday event will start at 6pm with a shared LOVE FOOD HATE WASTE potluck!
